Stefan Triffa’s paintings are purely aesthetical. No detours, no useless narrations, nor postmodern ironies. What matters for Stefan is the possibility to use colour and movement in painting without becoming impersonal. He achieves that by applying the paint with wide hand gestures on horizontal canvases.
