Femininity, fluidity and the visual imagery of 2004.
“H2O” brings together paintings by Anca Benera that approach femininity through an aquatic vocabulary, against a background influenced by manga and cinema.
The accompanying text emphasises how these images speak to their contemporary moment. The exhibition opened on 11 February 2004 at H’art’s Mihai Eminescu 105–107 space.
