Since 2002.
Founded by Dan Popescu in Bucharest in 2002, H’art was among Romania’s first private contemporary art galleries. Its programme began with the generation of artists who emerged after 1989.
Exhibitions give a gallery its public face; the relationships behind them give it continuity. At H’art, those relationships connect artists, audiences and collectors in Bucharest and abroad. Painting, sculpture, photography and collage all have a place in the programme.
Today, the programme continues at Atelierele Malmaison and through projects developed with other art spaces and institutions.
