The logic of dreams.
Working in watercolour, gouache and ink, Mircea Ionescu brings together characters and situations poised between dreaming and waking. An image seems to promise a story, then changes its rules. Fluid pigment softens the grotesque, while familiar details lead into a world with a logic of its own.
Devorator, his third exhibition at H’art, was curated by Dan Popescu at Malmaison in 2025.
