Desire bares its teeth.
Knives, flames, hydras: Devorator gives form to impulses beneath an orderly surface. Curated by Dan Popescu, Mircea Ionescu’s third exhibition at H’art brings together dark paintings charged with movement.
Reading, music and remembered images feed this world. Its symbols resist a fixed key. Ionescu leaves them free to trigger associations, allowing the paintings to work without the resolution of a single story.
