Where the screen meets the canvas.
Lucian Hrisav keeps the airbrush and spray paint of his street art practice, bringing them into the studio. Blurred forms and pixelated surfaces draw painting towards the digital image while keeping the friction between them visible.
Opened at H’art in April 2023, the exhibition carried this encounter into the room. Orange walls, circular forms and shifts in scale gave the works a shared rhythm, changing how the eye moved between them.
