Ten days on the road, as in a Decameron.

Tets Ohnari and Ryuta Iida set out from Prague by car on a road trip that will last 10 days. The 10 days are a reference to Boccaccio’s Decameron. It is the period of quarantine in the face of the apocalypse, in which stories become reality. Along this road, the two Japanese artists gather and select discarded things and recombine them into works to be shown in Bucharest.

With the support of INVITRO.

Tets Ohnari and Ryuta Iida showed at H’art Malmaison the works born of a ten-day road trip that set out from Prague, opening on 9 September 2022 with the support of Invitro.

The ten days refer to Boccaccio’s Decameron, a quarantine in the face of the apocalypse in which stories become reality. Along the way, the two Japanese artists gathered and selected discarded things, recombining them into the works shown in Bucharest.
