Suzana Dan was born in 1976 in Zăinești and graduated from the painting department of the National University of Arts in Bucharest in 1999, after attending the Art School in Brașov.
She has had solo exhibitions at H’art Gallery (2003 and 2012), Slag Gallery in New York (2008), Aiurart, with “Playground”, curated by Erwin Kessler (2014–2015), FIVEPLUS Art Gallery in Vienna (2015) and Új Kriterion (2018). In 2026 she is included in “Images of History, Histories of the Image” at MARe. “The Grandmother’s Garden III” is part of the European Parliament art collection.
Alongside her practice, she founded the White Night of Galleries in 2007 and runs Rezidența9.
