Twenty years of art, room by room.
More than 500 works across 23 rooms: at Casa Maria Lahovary, two decades of H’art became an exhibition on the scale of a house. Painting, sculpture and collage met in a dense installation shaped by the gallery’s relationships with artists.
Participants included Nicolae Comănescu, Dumitru Gorzo, Gili Mocanu, Ion Bîrlădeanu, Lucian Hrisav, Bianca Mann and Codruța Cernea. Curated by Dan Popescu, with exhibition architecture by Oana-Ecaterina Băndărău and support from MARe, each room offered another route through this shared history.
Dates from published sources and the gallery’s list are shown separately, with their provenance.
