Oilcloth becomes a surface for personal memory.
Ana Bănică painted on oilcloth for “Saru’mâna pentru masă”, which opened H’art’s exhibition season in March 2005. The material brings memories of meals, domestic patterns and childhood into the image.
Curator Dan Popescu connected the project with the artist’s personal Romania. It opened on 4 March, with an announced duration of approximately forty days.
