Eleven small paintings, a change of register.
In “Sweet Nightmares”, Roman Tolici worked from memory, dreams and obsessions, moving away from the realism of his recent painting.
The series was presented at H’art in September and October 2012. The exhibition text describes an encounter in which fascination and unease sustain each other rather than cancel each other out.
