A generation sowing its own seeds.
Plotting The Path is a travelling group exhibition in which George Anghelescu, Adrian Preda, Lea Rasovszky and Ștefan Ungureanu question the potential of the concept of generation.
The second in a series of events opened with a group show at the RKI Gallery, Romanian Cultural Institute Berlin, the exhibition brings together a selection of large-scale works by the four artists.
In an era when the artistic group forms as a rational association, which emerges only after each artist has traced their own identity, Anghelescu, Preda, Rasovszky and Ungureanu sow the seeds of a new generation, different from that of the 2000s.
“Plotting The Path”, a travelling group show with George Anghelescu, Adrian Preda, Lea Rasovszky and Ștefan Ungureanu, was presented on 31 May 2018 at the Multicultural Centre of Transilvania University in Brașov. It was the second stage of a series that opened at the RKI Gallery of the Romanian Cultural Institute in Berlin.
Bringing together large-scale works, the four artists question the potential of the very idea of a generation. At a time when artistic groups form only after each member has defined their own identity, they sow the seeds of a new generation, different from that of the 2000s.
