The revolution’s memory and what it leaves behind.
“’89” approached the Romanian Revolution through Mircea Suciu’s reflection on Nicolae Ceaușescu’s execution and its consequences for the post-revolutionary mindset.
Dan Popescu’s accompanying text brings different experiences of that moment, in Bucharest and Baia Mare, into dialogue. The exhibition was presented at H’art from 28 February to 20 March 2007.
