Meat, between consumption and violence.
Mircea Suciu presents images of meat cut, packaged and turned into a product. The exhibition connects everyday consumption with the violence that makes it possible.
Its accompanying text also considers memories of scarcity before 1989, when meat signalled prosperity. “Carne” was on view at H’art from 15 to 30 June 2006.
