What brings a painted world to life?
For Din dragoste, Dan Popescu wrote a seven-day parable of making a world. A rectangle, a horizon, then plants, animals and people: every painterly decision creates another difficulty.
The story ends with erasure, with the possibility that something missing might animate an image made too complete. Dumitru Gorzo’s exhibition opened at H’art’s Rosetti space in November 2013. Photographs by Pascal Gravot-Haeberli, published by Modernism, record the installation and opening night.
